I am building KDE 3.5_beta1, and when building packages requiring kdenetwork (ksirc and lisa are two I've encountered) the ftp path is incorrect. The ebuild is attempting to download from directory /pub/kde/stable/3.4.91/src on various mirrors, when the correct directory should be /pub/kde/unstable/3.4.91/src. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge kde-meta 2. 3. Actual Results: Build failed at ksirc with "!!! Couldn't download kdenetwork-3.4.91.tar.bz2. Aborting." after trying several mirrors. emerge --resume --skipfirst failed at lisa with the same error. Expected Results: Completed the KDE build emerge --info Portage 2.0.52-r1 (default-linux/amd64/2005.1, gcc-3.4.4, glibc-2.3.5-r1, 2.6.13-ck5 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.13-ck5 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre8 ccache version 2.4 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5, 2.4.1-r1 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.13 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r7 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.20 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/lib64/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/texmf/web2c /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe -fvisibility-inlines-hidden" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org/" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/bmg-main /usr/local/gentopia /usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.us.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X aac aalib alsa avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr crypt cups curl dbus eds emboss encode esd flac foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif gnome gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 hal howl imagemagick imlib ipv6 java jpeg kde ldap libwww lzw lzw-tiff mad maildir mikmod mono motif mozilla mp3 mpeg ncurses nls nptl ogg oggvorbis opengl pam pdflib perl pic png python qt quicktime readline ruby samba sdl speex spell sqlite ssl tcltk tcpd tetex theora tiff truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb userlocales vorbis xine xml xml2 xmms xpm xv zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, MAKEOPTS
This should now be fixed - please reopen if it still doesn't work after a resync. Thanks.
I did an emerge sync this morning and it worked perfectly. Thanks for taking care of it so quickly.
