i am doing a networkless installation, couldn't find the sources on the CD. Went to look in the documentation (2005.1 handbook) and there is nothing in part 7 ( installing the sources) to help me out. i browed through every dir in the CD and couldn't find anything, my CD was downloaded from one of your mirror's only about a week ago so it can't be that old. Any help on howto get these sources would be much appreciated, and maybe updating the handbook with commands for the networkless install people would really be beneficial. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me or any updates that you might make to the handbook, Nick
Of course you're using universal installation cd, not the minimal one and read that big Gentoo Handbook chapter about choosing the right installation medium?
