Description David Masover 2005-09-21 15:02:20 UTC
From package.mask:

# Diego Petten<C3><B2> <flameeyes@gentoo.org> (25 Aug 2005)
# Release Candidate
=media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.10_rc*
=media-libs/alsa-oss-1.0.10_rc*

and so on...

Why are these hard-masked, simply because they are a release candidate? I need
them for microphone input on my SoundBlaster Live 24-bit. The ebuilds
themselves are already soft-masked (~arch), and it's ALSA, so I doubt it'll
break anything -- so I don't see why they need to be hard-masked.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

As written above.

So unmask them in /etc/portage/package.unmask
