Description Alexander Papaspyrou 2002-11-13 07:58:48 UTC
Hi,

Please find attached knetmonapplet-0.6.6.ebuild.

knetmonapplet is a kde panel application which shows network traffic on a
configurable set of interfaces (lo, ethx, pppx and so on). It also provides
advanced features such as auto-switching the currently monitored device when a
connection is made on another one. Example:

knetmonapplet normally monitors eth0. Whenever a connection is established on
ppp0, knetmonapplet will switch monitoring onto this interface. On shutdown,
it will switch back to eth0.

Besides that, knetmonapplet is very small, yet readable, and does not take as
much panel space as the other graphical network monitors do.

I suggest net-misc/knetmonapplet as a good place in the portage tree.

Greetings,
Alexander

Committed to portage. Had to add a little fix which I've mailed the author.
