Same here. I've emerged it with 'USE=debug FEATURES=nostrip

Can you at least mark it M~ ? :)
Comment 6 Dan 2005-10-13 14:17:39 UTC
in reply to comment 3
you are going to have to recompile without -fomit-frame-pointer, and possibly compile other parts of
kde with same settings in order to get a useful backtrace out of that.

i had the same problem using voipbuster.
my failure was using a '@' symbol in my username,
which is allowed by the voipbuster client, but
crashes kiax when clicking on dial
also a space in the username doesn't work.
these seems to be a condition of sip/iax

further your username seems to be correct,
so have fun in debugging
Comment 8 Róbert Čerňanský 2005-12-29 03:37:12 UTC
I've installed new gentoo (2005-r1 from stage3) into chroot. Everything [re]compiled with "debug" USE flag and "nostrip" FEATURES option and without -fomit-frame-pointer. But debug output looks similar. I paste it here anyway.

Fix for IAXClient lib

This patch (against iaxclient) fixes the segfault on dial in both KIAX and Iaxcomm for me.
Comment 10 Róbert Čerňanský 2006-08-12 04:45:03 UTC
kiax-0.8.5_p1 works fine.
Comment 11 David Watzke 2006-10-22 07:24:00 UTC
It's resolved fixed, then.
