Could be user error, but I couldn't get the delete key to work.

Dirk: can you verify this?

Backspace doesn't seem to work
Delete key works and deletes character at cursor, rest of the line is moved 1 place to the left

hmmm... OSX is a bit weird on the backspace and delete, but this ncurses app
doesn't seem to make any sense out of it.

I think we should close this bug using CANTFIX or similar.

The problem looks to me as if MacOSX Terminal.app is another way braindead than the program
expects.
Contrary to my normal shell (where "backspace" works, but "delete" doesn't work).
But I am not about to look for a shell / terminal application where it works correctly.

the various stty fixes don't work. I finally managed to get my delete key
working properly in both my shell and Vim by using a bindkey sequence for the
character sent for delete: ^[[3~

Surpise, surprise, this character is even a standard too...

But then again, it took me three nights to finally get the delete, home/end
pgup/pgdn keys to do what they do under linux in my Terminal.app...
