Description Michael Stewart (vericgar) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-18 17:49:50 UTC
Please test and stable mod_scgi-1.2 for new-style apache.
Comment 1 AJ Armstrong 2005-10-14 21:25:47 UTC
This can't be stabled for amd64 until the dependancy www-apps/scgi is stabled.
Comment 2 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-29 07:09:25 UTC
Same on ppc, www-apps/scgi which is not marked stable on ppc yet, nor ~ppc for
that matter.
Comment 3 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-22 20:31:15 UTC
This seems to screw up the headers (the example server sends everything as text/plain), nor is it really well documented to begin with. Any test cases for this?
Comment 4 Michael Stewart (vericgar) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-05 12:44:59 UTC
robbat2: it looks like you have the most experience with this package. do you have any suggestions for a test-case you may have used in the past when marking stable?

It looks like upstream is at 0.10 now, so we are quite a bit behind. Perhaps masking this package (and coming back to it later) would be a good idea so that we can proceed with removing old-style ebuilds of apache? The only stable version of this package seems to be an _alpha build - I doubt that's really stable.

Other suggestions?

Version bumped ebuild 1.10

Version bumped ebuild. Copy the 20_mod_scgi.conf out of the current files directory before making the digest or the emerge will bomb.

Reverted to ~x86 for now and changing this bug to a version bump request.
