jpeg-6b-r6 causes digikam 0.8.0 beta (1 & 2) to crash on startup, moving back to
jpeg-6b-r5 solved the problem.

we need more information; i don't see any fundamental difference between -r5 
and -r6 that would cause this.

Moving back recompiling or moving back using the binary package?

i dont know what happened there.. .maybe something related to prelinking or
something like that.

but i can not recreate the problem.
