while trying to emerge app-office/scribus 1.2.3 I ran into the following problem the package and its dependencies emerged find, but when running, the application didn't start, but exited with the following error dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: lazy pointer not found dyld: lazy pointer not found Trace/BPT trap Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I dont think you will have much luck with 1.2.3, but 1.3.1 should work. Let me know if not. Please also refer to aqua.scribus.net.
Hanno, please mark 1.2.3 stable on x86. This bug should not hold that back as we really dont test 1.2.x on OSX, only 1.3.x. 1.3.x handles OSX properly.
Properly as in we package 1.3.x on OSX, see aqua.scribus.net. I'd be really interested to see what the Gentoo PPC/OSX system does with 1.3.x too btw.
hmmm... I don't know about the x86 stuff, but I guess I should give 1.3 a try tonight.
1.3.1 is currently masked because it needs cairo-1.0 (which is also masked). I'm waiting for this to try again when 1.3.1 gets unmasked.
