while trying to emerge app-office/scribus 1.2.3 I ran into the following problem

the package and its dependencies emerged find, but when running, the application didn't start, but 
exited with the following error

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: lazy pointer not found
dyld: lazy pointer not found
Trace/BPT trap

I dont think you will have much luck with 1.2.3, but 1.3.1 should work. Let me
know if not. Please also refer to aqua.scribus.net.

Hanno, please mark 1.2.3 stable on x86. This bug should not hold that back as we really dont test 1.2.x on OSX, only 1.3.x. 1.3.x handles OSX properly.

Properly as in we package 1.3.x on OSX, see aqua.scribus.net. I'd be really interested to see what the Gentoo PPC/OSX system does with 1.3.x too btw.

hmmm... I don't know about the x86 stuff, but I guess I should give 1.3 a try tonight.

1.3.1 is currently masked because it needs cairo-1.0 (which is also masked).

I'm waiting for this to try again when 1.3.1 gets unmasked.
