While trying to emerge  app-text/docbook-xsl-stylesheets 1.68.1-r1 I ran into the following problem

!!! Relying on the shell to locate gcc, this may break
!!! DISTCC, installing gcc-config and setting your current gcc
!!! profile will fix this

docbook-xsl-stylesheets-1.69.1 merges cleanly

no USE, correctly no binaries, just DTDs and documentation

as ~ppc-macos in portage

(the maintainers indeed responded to the mega bug and fixed it)
