Description Joe Rinkovsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-15 13:43:52 UTC
Please use this bug to report any missing and/or corrupt data that may have
resulted from the array problems on Toucan. We have a backup of /home taken
about 10 hours before the outage that we can use if needed. Please include full
path to the file that you are having problems with and we will look into it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Lose 1 drive in RAID5
2. Lose 2nd drive in RAID5
3. PANIC!

Actual Results:
As far as I can tell all of the data is actually fine. I am guessing that the
RAID controller went into read-only mode when the 2nd drive failed.

Expected Results:
The data on the drive should be toast. Someone|thing is looking out for Gentoo.
