Description Alexander Nofftz 2002-11-11 19:23:58 UTC
Hi!

This eBuild provides downloading and installing the German locales and help files for the Opera web browser. Since the original translations of Opera aren't very good, this eBuild uses the translation from www.thielevision.de, that is much better and widely used.

It depends of the package "opera-static", however it should also work with the dynamic linked version "opera", but I don't know how to define this in RDEPEND.

Regards,
  Alex

two ways I see to go with this:

1) include this stuff with the "nls" USE flag in the opera ebuilds anyway, or
2) have the opera ebuids provide virtual/opera and then RDEPEND on that with
this ebuild.

i think adding an info at the end of the ebuild with a link to http://www.opera.com/download/languagefiles/index.dml?platform=linux
will do, adding all languages would be about 5mb. what do you think agenkin?
