Description indika 2005-09-15 01:41:22 UTC
Hi @ll,

IBM T20 Laptop

i want to install Gentoo, my trouble is i don't get my internal network card
working only when i turn off acpi but when i turn off acpi my laptop crashed
when i compiled 5-6 hours everytime. Is there any solution?
On Fedora Core it worked with acpi and the network card were supported but
this was the only distri that worked immediately.
I was on this site -> http://talisman.mv.com/laptop.html

But there was not a really help for me. Does anyone have a IBM T20 Laptop
which is working with gentoo it would be nice to know.

Thanks for reading and maybe answering!

Cu,

indika

This is not a bug but a request for help. Please, seek help in forums.gentoo.org
or attach some relevant information needed to debug the problem (dmesg output,
kernel version etc.)
