Description Piojo 2005-09-14 16:52:41 UTC
The manifest for app-office/openoffice needs to be updated. There is a file
not listed there.

This is the output I get when trying to upgrade:
------
StarWars ~ # emerge --resume
*** Resuming merge...
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-office/openoffice-1.1.5 to /
!!! Security Violation: A file exists that is not in the manifest.
!!! File: files/1.1.5/newstlportfix.patch

Could you take a look at the actual file in
/usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/Manifest, if the file is listed there? Cause
I can't reproduce your problem, it works fine for me. Could it be that you have
an old Manifest-file of openoffice somewhere in your overlay?
Comment 2 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-15 01:57:18 UTC
I just checked with current cvs, and the file is certainly in the manifest there
Comment 3 Piojo 2005-09-15 06:39:19 UTC
The file is listed on files/1.1.4 , but there are no digests for _any_ files on
files/1.1.5 on my Manifest. And I don't have any overlays for openoffice.
Comment 4 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-15 07:08:31 UTC
It appears that your manifest is stale. Try to sync again. Which sync server do
you use? I also checked in my normal rsync tree and it is on mine so it is
certainly on the master server.
Comment 5 Piojo 2005-09-15 14:42:46 UTC
Yes. It was the rsync server. Syncing again solved the problem.
