Description Rafal Rzepecki 2005-09-13 08:43:02 UTC
Lcdtest is a simple utility which displays test patterns that help to look for
dead pixels on LCD screens.

I suggest sys-apps/lcdtest (it is a hardware test utility after all).

Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-13 09:05:12 UTC
Thanks. Any reason, why this depends on sys-apps/sed?
Comment 3 Rafal Rzepecki 2005-09-13 11:51:04 UTC
It calls sed in the makefile. Also pngtopnm and ppmtoxpm, hence the netpbm
dependency. As they are only called in build process, these are not in RDEPEND.

Please fix the following and reopen:

* http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/redundant.txt (src_compile)

Removed src_compile.
Comment 6 Rafal Rzepecki 2005-09-13 22:23:55 UTC
As per request in comment #4.
Comment 7 Tony Vroon (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-01 15:48:01 UTC
I have removed the 'inherit eutils' line, as you are not using any functions
from this eclass. As I am an amd64 dev, the KEYWORDS line has been changed. ~x86
keywording has been requested, the package is in the tree as an ~amd64 package
for now. Thanks for your work :)
