title: apache 1.3.33-r6
is in fact
description: Apache Web Server, Version 2.0.x

this could confuse someone not knowing about the slot mechanism in gentoo.

IMO package versions should not be put in ebuild descriptions.  Nevertheless, I
can't really correct it without totally re-designing the database and that's not
something I'm about to do right now.

I totally agree with Marduk's view on not having version numbers in the package
description. Any chance of the ebuild maintainer removing the version number
from the package description?
