After upgrading to unstable GNOME-2.12 evolution-2.4 is broken: It crashs when
starting it. On the console the following output appears:

I had a similar problem. Not as many errors, but the same killer final one.
Chnaged my theme to Clearlooks and it worked.

I already have the Clearlooks theme. In fact I got the clearlooks-graphite theme.

please upgrade to evolution-2.6 ( just marked stable with GNOME 2.14 ) and re-open the bug if you can still reproduce it.
