ReJ has been around for quite some time on #gentoo-hppa and is now offering his help. I think he would make a fine addition to our team. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
His email address is jer@xs4all.nl and I'll be his mentor.
ReJ sent the quizz to recruiters@gentoo.org. Awaiting feedback.
Please forward both quizes to me- don't have them in recruiters mailbox.
(In reply to comment #3) > Please forward both quizes to me- don't have them in recruiters mailbox. Noted. JeR
In most of the rest of the world, I am known as JeR, notably on forums.g.o, bugs.g.o, in my e-mail address, on several Jabber servers and IRC networks and so on. I have discussed changing the proposed nickname from ReJ to JeR, but we got stuck on one issue on several occasions: Freenode is the single Gentoo- related place where a name clash occurs; i.e. "jer" is registered to a "Bob Barker": 13:31 [freenode] --> jer [n=jtregunn@unaffiliated/jer] 13:31 [freenode] --> ircname : Bob Barker 13:31 [freenode] --> server : irc.freenode.net [http://freenode.net/] 13:31 [freenode] --> : is identified to services 13:31 [freenode] --> idle : 0 days 0 hours 58 mins 10 secs [signon: Tue Nov 8 11:23:19 2005] 13:31 [freenode] --> End of WHOIS By bringing up the issue here, I hope we can somehow find a solution for this problem, or at least decide if the Freenode name clash constitutes a problem at all.
(In reply to comment #5) I talked to `jer' and he says he won't (ever) give up that nick, so now the question is whether to allow me to keep using ReJ on freenode and still use JeR on *gentoo.org...
End quiz sent to ferringb this afternoon (CET), cc'd to gmsoft...
Seems I can't use my forums.g.o account jer@xs4all.nl now, and jer@gentoo.org doesn't work either.
https://forums.gentoo.org/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=114951 is your current account. It can be renamed from JeR to ReJ as there is no other forums users with that name. I've added you to the dev group. There are also some other devs with different dev- and forums usernames (e.g. jakub). It may not be perfect to organize things that way, but this isn't a perfect world and forums usernames are occupied pretty fast. ;-)

I already had JeR registered (and I'd rather stick with that) but I cannot login now using jer@{xs4all.nl,gentoo,org}. Maybe my password needs to be reset and then set again?
Forums account problems fixed. :-)
finalized...
