Description Mark S 2005-09-10 17:48:07 UTC
I have created an improved lock dialog for the ugly xscreensaver dialog in
Gentoo. I have attached patched ebuild and files.

Did You notify upstream? Also please read this comment:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89134#c6 Marking as upstream.
Comment 6 Mark S 2005-09-11 21:26:40 UTC
This patch was intended to make gentoo more uniform, as ubuntu and Foresight
have adopted their own lock dialog as well. The link to the other bug is just
plain stupid, as this is not another xscreensaver hack, especially something as
silly as xjack-girl...

I believe that this would make gentoo look alot nicer. Upstream, the
xscreensaver developers will not make custom lock dialogs, and this is why both
Ubuntu and Foresight have included their own patches, on which this one is
based. But of course, if we won't share it with the gentoo community, then
that's really too bad for the community. I think there is a demand out there...
