When I click Help -> Contents in gnomemeeting, nothing happens. No window pops up, no browser pops up. Transcript of gnome bugzilla entry: gnomemeeting Help -> Contents No help id displayed. F1 doesn't work either. I am using gnomemeeting 1.00 from Gentoo. I don't know how to determine GNOME version. ------- Additional Comment #1 From Damien Sandras 2005-09-17 09:54 UTC ------- I can confirm you that the help is available. If I was you, I would report the bug to gentoo, because that is an installation probelm. ------- Additional Comment #2 From Karel 'Clock' Kulhavy 2005-09-27 20:29 UTC ------- I have asked my friend who has Debian and he has exactly the same problem - there is no help in gnomemeeting. ------- Additional Comment #3 From Damien Sandras 2005-09-28 07:58 UTC ------- Then complain to the distributions because I can confirm you that there is a help in GnomeMeeting and that it works :)
Help doesn't work also for glade2...
The help doesn't work for Ekiga either. I have asked two people - one with Ubuntu and the other with Arch Linux - and both reported working help in Ekiga. I tried to compile Ekiga manually but it didn't work either. I even tried to recompile scrollkeeper manually (after carefully removing the remains from the system) and then Ekiga and it didn't work either. Scrollkeeper seems to be the application responsible for helps in Gnome. The help in ggv doesn't work either.
It's caused by missing yelp program. Now I downloaded yelp tarball, compiled by hand and help started magically working.
