Description catfish 2005-09-08 21:48:09 UTC
Gaim 1.5.0:#:

Gaim has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.

It is possible that this bug is already fixed in CVS.
If you can reproduce the crash, please notify the gaim
maintainers by reporting a bug at
http://gaim.sourceforge.net/bug.php

Please make sure to specify what you were doing at the time,
and post the backtrace from the core file. If you do not know
how to get the backtrace, please get instructions at
http://gaim.sourceforge.net/gdb.php. If you need further
assistance, please IM either SeanEgn or LSchiere and
they can help you.
Aborted

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerged gaim 1.5.0
2.run gaim 1.5.0
3.

Actual Results:
gaim worked fine since i built the system last year. at some point it became
unstable at now will not even run. re-emerging does nothing, nor deleting any
configs.

Expected Results:
run normally

See http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/bugzilla-howto.xml and attach backtrace of the
crash. Also post emerge --info output.
