It seems to apply only for the toolbar zoom selection, menu works fine. I happens to most if not all of my pdf's, multiple sources. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any pdf with kpdf 2. Choose "Fit width" from the toolbar Actual Results: Zoom is set to 10% Expected Results: Toolbar "fit width" behave like menu "fit width" (both correctly :D ) Portage 2.0.51.22-r2 (default-linux/x86/2005.1, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.5-r1, 2.6.12-gentoo-r9 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.12-gentoo-r9 i686 AMD Sempron(tm) 2400+ Gentoo Base System version 1.6.13 ccache version 2.3 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.11 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r10 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.18-r1 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig ccache distlocks noclean sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.las.ic.unicamp.br/pub/gentoo/ http://www.las.ic.unicamp.br/pub/gentoo/ http://distfiles.gentoo.org http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" LANG="pt_BR" LC_ALL="pt_BR" LINGUAS="pt_BR" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.samerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 3dnow X a52 aac acpi alsa arts avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 cdparanoia cdr crypt cups curl dbus dga divx4linux dvb dvd dvdr dvdread emboss encode exif expat fam ffmpeg flash foomaticdb fortran ftp gdbm geoip gif gpm gtk gtk2 hal iconv imagemagick imlib java javascript jpeg kde kdeenablefinal kdexdeltas libg++ libwww lm_sensors mad maildir mbox md5sum mhash mikmod mime mmap mmx mng mp3 mpeg msn ncurses nls opengl pam pda pdf pdflib perl png posix python qt quicktime readline sasl sdl session sox spell sse ssl svg symlink szip tcpd threads tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb usepackagedmakefiles vcd win32codecs wmf xine xml xml2 xosd xpm xv zlib video_cards_via linguas_pt_BR userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LDFLAGS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY
Can you post/link to a PDF triggering this so we can test try to reproduce? If it's reproducible it'll probably end up going upstream.

I tried to keep the list pretty heterogeneous, hopefully created with various software. txt2tag's doc was probably created with htmldoc, and projetodiretrizes's with some windoze-land tool.
(In reply to comment #1) > If it's reproducible it'll probably end up going upstream. So, did you consider it reproducible? I couldn't find it in http://bugs.kde.org
I cannot reproduce it here with kde 3.4.3.
(In reply to comment #4) > I cannot reproduce it here with kde 3.4.3. Following your report, I have just updated it to 3.4.3 and indeed now it works. Closing the bug.
