Eh, sorry for assigning this. This version is not in portage, closing INVALID.
Reporter, ebuilds in your overlay are your responsibility, don't report bugs
about them.
Comment 2 Joe Kappus 2005-09-08 21:14:37 UTC
ok, if you want it that way.. i'll reopen it because the same damn thing happens
with your version in portage.

i apologize for accidently pasting the errors from my second attempt at getting
it to work by bumping.. this is however, correct.
Comment 3 Joe Kappus 2005-09-11 15:54:35 UTC
googled a bit. Found out this is some crap with sandbox. So sandbox doesn't
work with this ebuild and because of it, merging with:

FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge albumart

worked. Wondering if this should be reassigned to whoever does sandbox then?

Ebuild should be bumped in any case...
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-16 13:02:52 UTC
No the problem is not with sandbox, the problem was indeed with the ebuild, as
being qt-related things it should have know that the package wants to write to
${QTDIR}/etc/settings.

Fixed in 1.5.0-r1.

File another bug for the bump.
