When I click Help | About with the new Firefox version, I get a yellow error message. I fixed it my deleting the file XUL.mfasl rm /home/chris/.mozilla/firefox/g90zjfoa.Default\ User/XUL.mfasl
I had the same problem, but re-emerging sorted it.
