ati-drivers only works if libstdc++-v3 is installed but the ebuild does not
depend on it. This can lead to very strange problems (please read the link for
more details).

Just for clarifications :

I'm talking about the ati closed source drivers (media-video/ati-drivers) not
the open-source drivers that come with the kernel/xorg.
