ISSUE: lcdproc-0.4.3.ebuild & lcdproc-0.4.1-r1.ebuild automatically add /etc/init.d/lcdproc to your default run level. This ebuild should have this as a default behavior. This can cause a system to hang during boot if improperly configured (and will by default if you do not have the same LCD display on the exact serial port as put in the pre-made /etc/conf.d/lcdproc ). Out of thousands of packages, there are only a handful of ebuilds that add the service to an init level, I cannot see how this needs to be one of them. Suggest that the post package install be removed or set up to be an einfo comment on how to add lcdproc to the default run level. Regards, _j_
Sorry, the 2nd sentence should read: This ebuild should NOT have this as a default behavior. Regards, _j_
Fixed, thanks for finding this!
