The recent update to dvdstyler inadvertently reset the ebuild version from 1.40 to 1.4. This means that portage considers 1.31 to be the "latest" version (under ~x86). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. # emerge -av dvdstyler Actual Results: These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild U ] media-video/dvdstyler-1.31 [1.4] +gnome 662 kB Expected Results: These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! my bad -yes I'll fix it.
1.4 marked x86 stable. amd64 people can you please mark 1.4 stable and then remove 1.31
Isn't stable here. Try this. Delete all the menus in your project, then drag any background into the black space Crashes: (DVDStyler:1703): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_menu_attach_to_widget(): menu already attached to GtkMenuItem Jim

Exactly the same thing happens. "The application has quit unexpectedly"
removed 1.31 to fix version problems. 1.4 is marked ~amd64 so people shouldn't expect it 100% working. Jim are you able to do a stack trace to submit upstream? http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/bugzilla-howto.xml
Created attachment 67933 [details] backtrace for dvdstyler 1.4 Daniel, backtrace attached as requested. Not sure if you wanted _all_ of it, when the majority of the lower output seems pointless. But hey it's only 32k Jim
Thank Jim - bug submitted upstream as per URL
