As of juk 3.4.2 (perhaps sooner) it no longer required gstreamer or arts. A third option is present: akode. Unfortunately the ebuild doesn't reflext this. All that needs to happen to resolve the issue is to add a third use flag, preferably akode, have it depend on akode, and make the die message at the end check for akode as well. An ebuild displaying this is included. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Emerge akode without gstreamer or arts use flags set. 2. 3. Actual Results: If merged without set, it fails. Yet, the package WILL compile, install and run quite well.
Created attachment 67581 [details] Ebuild that resolves the issue.
Created attachment 67582 [details] Fixed ebuild, ebuild akode use flag test at the end was broken.
As it turns out, this also works with 3.4.1.
