The sudo-1.6.8_p9-r2.ebuild creates /etc/ldap.conf.sudo to enable using ldap for sudoers. The commented header in this file suggests reading README.LDAP and man ldap.conf. However the README.LDAP conflicts with the build which requires gentoo users to use ldap.conf.sudo instead of sudo's default /etc/ldap.conf minor but it took me awhile to figure this out since I didn't see `ewarn "sudo uses the /etc/ldap.conf.sudo file for ldap configuration."` because of multiple builds. Unprompted I began reading the README.LDAP and it took me awhile to begin to "wonder if the gentoo ebuild did something with the package" and read the ebuild, where I found the ewarn.
I find it pretty obvious since you are reading that from ldap.conf.sudo, we are saying to read ldap.conf(5) man page but we are doing that in ldap.conf.sudo context. Plus there's the ewarn (sorry you didn't see it but that's a common problem for every ewarn). Suggestion for solving this "problem" ?
