I just would like to tell that I've rename the pango-1.1.2.ebuild and
gtk+-2.1.1.ebuild to their recent updates and that I've been running without
problems.

In fact the updated gtk solves an annoying bug in the previous version which
caused metacity to place its popup windows randomly on the desktop, as
documented in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96624

I know, but no real update till next official gnome 2.1 release.

Oh! Ok. I hadn't noticed that Gentoo was following the Gnome releases for these.
