Comment 1 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-31 10:39:54 UTC
Do you have RC_PARALLEL_STARTUP enabled in conf.d/rc ?
Comment 2 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-31 22:25:00 UTC
Nope, it's set to no.
Comment 3 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-02 03:53:12 UTC
Please:

 $ tar -jcf /tmp/init.tar.bz2 /etc/rc.conf /etc/conf.d/ /etc/init.d/

and attach /tmp/init.tar.bz2 here.
Comment 4 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-02 07:20:57 UTC
I *might* be able to do this only on Monday (this is my machine at work)...I'll
put it up then.
Comment 5 Arun Raghavan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-02 13:14:23 UTC
Using the same - no issues here.
Comment 6 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-03 01:00:48 UTC
Ok, I can't reproduce this. I also remembered that I was trying out "I" mode
when this happened...

I guess this will go NEEDINFO till it can be reproduced consistently?
Comment 7 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-08 06:15:55 UTC
Yeah, we need more info about this one
