Description Amir Guindehi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-08 07:48:33 UTC
Attached you find zebra-0.93b.ebuild.tar.gz
Zebra is a routing daemon framework supporting RIP, OSPF, BGP, OSPF6 and RIPNG.
I've included various bug fixes (found by me and Masahiko Endo, the developer of
the OPAQUE LSA module of zebra) and the OSPFAPI patch developed by Ralph Keller.
The OSPFAPI provides a link to the OSPF LSA database of an OSPF daemon.
Hopefully most of the patches will be included in the next release of the zebra
routing daemon.
You find zebra at http://www.zebra.org
You find OSPFAPI at http://www.tik.ee.ethz.ch/~keller/ospfapi

I did not find a category like net-routing, so I propose sys-apps/zebra.
Eventually a category for routing daemons like zebra, routed and gated would be
cool...

What's the status of this ebuild?
Comment 6 Jonathan Stewart 2003-02-07 01:18:34 UTC
I would really like to see the zebra ebuild in the tree. Is there anything stopping it from being merged, or tested? I'm willing to test if necessary/needed.
Comment 7 Joshua Brindle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-07 22:32:00 UTC
Ok, it looks like i got this bug because i submitted another zebra ebuild. This ebuild appears to have more support than the one i already commited (net-misc/zebra) but there are lots of files referenced in this ebuild that don't exist anywhere including an ospf patch and about 8 init.d files. If you still want/need the extra support offered by this ebuild over the one i already commited please look at mine, edit it, give me a patch and include a tarball with all the extra files.
Comment 8 Joshua Brindle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-24 18:39:33 UTC
i think the current zebra has everything
