I have a kernel with ipw2100, ieee80211, and ieee80211_crypt_* (stable) 
emerged and compiled in.  I emerged iptables (stable) from Portage, selected 
iptables support as a module and recompiled.  On reboot, ipw2100,ieee80211,and 
ieee80211_crypt_* will not load.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge ipw2100, ieee80211
2.compile kernel, reboot (all is ok)
3.genkernel --menuconfig all (add module OR compiled-in support for iptables)
4. compile kernel reboot

Actual Results:  
ipw2100,ieee80211,ieee80211_crypt_* fail to load

Expected Results:  
loaded ipw2100, ieee80211, iee80211_crypt_*, iptables

2.6.12-r9 #1 SMP UTC i686 Pentium M 1400MHz
MinimalCD install with stage2 2005.1, using genkernel
Currently, this box has a base system + dhcpcd,syslog-ng,vixie-cron,
clamav,fam,mDNSResponder,hald,portmap,nifd,dbus-daemon,X,gnome,openoffice,gaim

Please attach the output of `emerge --info` as noted on the bug form - and I
can't do much unless you report the error messages produced.
