After using lyx for a couple of minutes, the computer freezes: It's not responding to keyboard, mouse or ping from another computer. It's the only application having this behaviour. Does /var/log/messages tell you anything useful about the possible cause of this freeze ?
Nothing useful in logs, I will try to reproduce it when running strace or ltrace.
What about the latest lyx version (1.4.0)?
