When compiled with USE="nls" and ran on an fr_FR system, Ceferino 0.96 segfaults
while displaying the game menu:

I've played with the po/fr.po file, and it happens that making one
of the longest menu strings a bit shorter (like "s/nouvelle partie/jouer/" or
"s/meilleurs scores/scores/") is enough to make it run fine. What is weird is
that it does not really matter which string you change (i would have thought it
was one in particular which was too long, or something like that).

Anyway, this french translation has an other issue: it contains non-ASCII
letters ("é", etc.) which can't be displayed because they don't exist in the
game font (src/ima/fuente*).  So i guess the simplest workaround would be to
disable it until this issues is solved upstream (i will make the report).  This
line in src_unpack() is enough to do this:
sed -i -e '/^ALL_LINGUAS=/s:\bfr\b::' configure || die "sed failed"

Many thanks Hugo for the new version. I can confirm it now works fine for french locales. There is just a minor glitch: in the introduction text, "è" appears as "ì", and "à" as "è". But that's much better than a segfault :)

I will attach an up-to-date ebuild on a new bug and make this one depend on it.
