mod_auth_kerb depends on MIT Kerberos 5, it can also build with Heimdal. The dependency needs to change to "virtual/krb5". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Agreed - version 5 does, but the current 4.11 (on x86) don't build with it.
Another affirmation: mod_auth_kerb-5 works if built against Heimdal, just by changing the dependency to virtual/krb5 (and rebuilding digest). This for apache2 on a "mostly x86, some ~x86" system. Other variants untested. Test client platform is Firefox 1.5.0.1 running on Windows XP Home Ed with MIT Kerberos for Windows. Authentication works flawlessly.
also want to confirm that mod_auth_kerb works with heimdal after changing ebuild to virtual/krb5. net-www/mod_auth_kerb-5.0_rc7 net-www/apache-2.0.54-r31 app-crypt/heimdal-0.6.5 regards the2nd
I confirm it works fine with heimdal too, so the dependancy was changed to virtual/krb5. Best regards, CHTEKK.
