Description M Grundman 2005-08-25 10:43:29 UTC
heimdal-0.6.5 : hpropd seems to work when standalone event if it shows a message
"bind af = 2: Address already in use". It works even without a "-i" switch.

When used with xinetd it fails.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Comment 1 M Grundman 2005-08-26 08:17:10 UTC
I found that the problem was a local xinetd problem and it was not connected to
hpropd "bind af = 2: Address already in use".

This message is connected to the use of PF_UNSPEC instead of PF_INET in
lib/roken/mini_inetd.c and lib/roken/getaddrinfo.c files. However it seems to
work even with this message.

You may consider the xinetd hpropd bug as closed.
