I can't be the only one who has a /usr/local NFS mounted read-only. baselayout-1.11.13-r1 attempts to create /usr/local and it's subdirectories, and then dies when trying to merge those to a read-only file system. Similar to bugs #88835 and #90022, it would be nice if /usr/local were created on installation but not bothered with after that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
it should already check for this ... there was a bug with dosym in /usr/local though so ive fixed that
I've verified that the updated 1.11.13-r1 indeed works as advertised. Thanks. Not sure if I should "Mark bug as VERIFIED" or not, but I consider it verified, or even "CLOSED".
we dont generally utilized the 'VERIFIED' feature but if you are so inclined to use it, we wont complain ;)
