Description Dimitar Toshev 2005-08-22 11:19:29 UTC
The ati-drivers-8.16.20 ebuild should not be flagged as -*, but rather be
pmasked. The only problems I noticed with them is that I had to set the correct
modelines for my monitor in my xorg.conf(before that I got a "signal out of
sync" message) and also write a new device section, pasted from a config file,
generated by ati's fglrxconfig, because the new drivers take new parameters. I
hardly think that those are enough to flag the drivers as -*. They should be
pmasked and, more importantly, the user informed of the aforementioned quirks.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2.

Would you please leave the keywording up to the maintainers? It has been
keyworded -* three days ago b/c of too many problems - see the ChangeLog.

Thanks.
