The default location for the snmp config files is /usr/share/snmp. This should be /etc or /etc/snmp. I think this is a simple fix with a parameter to configure. Demo

There's a wrong message in the start script too. After installation I did an /etc/init.d/net-snmpd start and I got: * You need an /usr/share/snmp/snmpd.conf to run snmpd * There is an example config in /usr/share/docs/net-snmp But I couldn't find any sample config file anywhere. I'm gonna wait some time before installing net-snmp...
