Description alexzndr 2005-08-19 08:57:20 UTC
Mindless 1.6 starts whitout any problems, but crash every time i load a deck.
For example, when i load this deck:
http://www.magic-league.com/decks/download.php?deck=125273
comes an error like this:

*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x081d5478 ***
Aborted

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start mindless
2.load a deck
3.

Works fine for me with the deck you mentioned. I suggest moving aside the
~/.mindless* files/directories you have and starting again. See if that helps.
Comment 2 alexzndr 2005-08-20 04:54:30 UTC
In my home i have .mindlesschache directory (empty) and .mindlessrc file.
I move them but the problem remains.

Gives also this error:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x083a5f18 ***
Aborted

I have compiled it using new glibc 2.3.5-r1
Comment 3 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-20 10:19:20 UTC
dunno.

make sure your system is all up-to-date. run revdep-rebuild and emerge --newuse
world. try it with CFLAGS="-pipe"
Comment 4 alexzndr 2005-08-22 07:34:20 UTC
I changed CFLAGS as you said and then i run:

revdep-rebuild
emerge --newuse world
emerge mindless

but the problem is still there.

oops, sorry, wrong bug. Please ignore attachments.
Comment 9 Tristan Heaven (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-18 09:59:36 UTC
Which files is this supposed to be able to load?
Comment 10 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-19 17:28:38 UTC
The deck format is talked about, with an example, here: http://mindless.sourceforge.net/guide.html
Comment 11 Tristan Heaven (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-23 14:48:58 UTC
"New Game", "Load" worked for all of the decks I tried, but I did get it to crash when I tried to load an invalid file with "Load Card Data".
Comment 12 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-03-14 18:44:59 UTC
I continue to be unable to reproduce this. Reopen if you're ever able to track the crash down.
