The nagios ebuild is putting the apache config file (99_nagios.conf) in /etc/apache2/conf/modules.d/, and apache is looking for modules in /etc/apache2/modules.d. So, it can't find the config file. I moved the file and it worked fine. I think my apache configuration is up to date. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. I'm seeing the same thing here, after an upgrade to the newer webapp.class version of Apache.
Yep, this needs to be migrated to the new Apache configuration layout.
hi sparc team :) could you test and stabilize nagios-1.2-r4 please? it already stable in x86 and has the fix for this bug , thnx!
nagios-core-1.2-r4*
When we actually stablize the new apache layout we will.
Hmm... It (apache w/ new layout) was just released stable a week or so ago. Or is there something else coming down the pike?
It went stable on x86 but not nessarily on the other archs. The fixed ebuild went x86 stable shortly after this bug was opened so this should be resolved for that arch at least. Let us know if thats the case. (FYI: -r4 is the fixed ebuild)
sparc done.
Thanks for your help , fixed ebuild is stable now :)
