The default path configuration in JPGraph for searching font are in : /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/ Since corefonts was modified to put fonts in /usr/share/fonts/corefont, if you don't configure by hand jpgraph, you are unable to use truetype font (before, with the standard /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/, it used to work). This was fixed in the new dev-php4/jpgraph and dev-php5/jpgraph ebuilds for dev-lang/php.
