The default path configuration in JPGraph for searching font are in :

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/

Since corefonts was modified to put fonts in /usr/share/fonts/corefont, if you
don't configure by hand jpgraph, you are unable to use truetype font (before,
with the standard /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/, it used to work).

Provide a pre-configured "/usr/lib/php/jpgraph/jpg-config.inc" file with the
correct path set up in, i.e :

DEFINE("TTF_DIR","/usr/share/fonts/corefonts/");

This was fixed in the new dev-php4/jpgraph and dev-php5/jpgraph ebuilds for
dev-lang/php.
They are currently only to be found on the PHP Overlay [1], for more
informations on how to upgrade to dev-lang/php, the new generation PHP ebuilds,
please read [2].
