Description Robert Wohlrab 2005-08-17 12:48:49 UTC
New ati-drivers are out. This time they are for normal ati users and
Radeon Xpress 200 Series users.

ati-drivers-extra-8.16.20 also needs to be added (please use
ati-drivers-extra-8.14.13-improvements.patch.bz2, because nothing has
changed).

I forgot to say that linux 2.6.12 and gcc 4.0 are directly supported
(according to the release notes).

Is on route for cvs right now, thanks for the headup

I have upgraded to this new version (manualy), and some bugs I got with my X800
XT (see http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=142
http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=146 ) seems to be corrected, X start with
DRI without problem (X doesn't took 100% cpu and still blanck therefore no need
to use workaournd like limiting memory or starting X without DRI).
So I'd like to add that a few things has changed ;) , but more is needed ...
