The Gentoo Linux installer stops going once it gets to the stage where it will
mount the local partitions.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the Gentoo Installer
2.Use a whole hard drive instead of a partition.
3. Follow rest of steps and at the end click install.


Actual Results:  
Hung on "Mounting Local Partitions".

Expected Results:  
Finished installing the Gentoo OS. 

X86 Dell P4 decent machine!
No problems with that Hd
I had a stage 1 on it before(manual).

Follow the directions at
<http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/releng/installer/faq.xml#newerversion> to update
the installer to the latest CVS snapshot. If you still run into this problem,
please reopen this bug and attach /tmp/installprofile.xml and
/var/log/installer.log from the livecd right after the installer fails.
