when i play a file in mplayer and want to adjust a setting in the preferences menu or try to open a differnet file two things will happen mplayer will either just close out completely or display a series of popups. when i use the xv video driver it will close out and if i use the x11 video driver is displays those popups this is what they say: --start popup info-- popup1:fatal error! mplayer interrupted by signal 11 in module:unknown popup2:fatal error! - mplayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM. recompile mplayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and disassembly. Details in DOCS/HTML/en/bugreport_what.html#bugreports_crash. popup3:- mplayer crashed. this shouldn't happen.it can be a bug in the mplayer code_or_in your drivers_or_in your gcc version. if you think it's mplayer's fault, please read DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there.
