Hello, libpcap-0.9.3 has been around for 30 days and we have been asked to stabilize it as soon as possible in bug 99190. Since a lot of packages depend on libpcap, I would like your input on this before marking it stable. Personally, I didn't have any problems with it, but I have not given it a rough test. Marcelo
works fine overhere on x86 for 2 weeks
I'm in favour of it being stabilised. I did a build on every ebuild that depends on libpcap and although some did fail (correcting them now), none failed because of libpcap. from the top level of the portage tree for anyone who wishes to replicate: $ fgrep -rl virtual/libpcap . --include \*.ebuild | xargs -n1 -i ebuild {} install
x86 stable it is.
