The newest ExifTool in portage is dev-perl/Image-ExifTool-3.74

But the newest ExifTool is 5.53 according to
http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/

An upgrade of the ebuild would be nice.

No, there is no such ebuild in portage.
