Description Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 09:17:26 UTC
In section 2.b "Network dependencies":
For a more detailed discussion about dependency, consult the section Writing
Init Scripts in the Gentoo Handbook.

The link "Writing to Init Scripts" always points to handbook-x86 although other
arch's have this section too (I checked on sparc)
Comment 1 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 11:38:15 UTC
Yeah, but they all have the same content. Initscripts don't change across archs
on Gentoo and the Writing Init Scripts section is in fact a common file used
across archs.

Marking Invalid.
Comment 2 Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 22:24:55 UTC
The problem is that, when you click on a handbook-x86.xml link, you are switched
to handbook-x86, not the original handbook. It may lead you to x86 specific
information instead of the original arch.

Heh, I'm now enlightened ;)
Comment 4 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-13 22:42:56 UTC
Fixed, Link will now point to respective handbook's Init Script section and not
x86 only as before.
