Description Alexey Dobriyan 2005-08-12 12:31:08 UTC
[ebuild   R   ] www-client/mozilla-firefox-1.0.6-r2  -debug -gnome -ipv6 -java
-mozcalendar -mozdevelop -moznoxft -mozsvg +truetype -xinerama -xprint 0 kB

Still there are
    [ ] Enable Java
    [ ] Enable JavaScript [Advanced...]
things in the Edit->Preferences menu.

I think one should be able to compile Java and Javascript support away. Some of us
never enable it.

The java use flag is just for people who want to include the libjava plugin with
there firefox ... as far as javascript goes a possible use flag might be needed
I will look at it later. As for now your suggest of -java is incorrect and I
will close as invalid.
Comment 2 Alexey Dobriyan 2005-08-12 13:44:01 UTC
Hmm... "java" means "Adds support for Java"
